Dr. JB Rose JB Rose, M.A., Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Owner

Dr. Rose is the owner of Mindful Path Behavioral Health & Wellness, Inc. and is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She specializes in working with adolescents, emerging adults/millennials, and adults who are touched by trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, poor body-image, negative/distorted thinking, poor communication skills, and family of origin issues.

Dr. Rose's style of therapy is guided by theories such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Yoga Philosophies.

In her therapy practice, Dr. Rose strives to create a compassionate and accepting environment where her clients may feel safe to explore the things that bring them to therapy. She works from a collaborative and wholistic framework, validating her clients' experiences and encouraging them to recognize the avoidance patterns that, paradoxically, exacerbate rather than reduce their suffering.

Dr. Rose has over 10 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. She received her Master's and Doctorate Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Rose is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) and is serving on the Conference Committee for the ACBS Chicago Chapter's Annual Conference in April of 2015. She is also certified in Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy.
