Dr. Rose is the owner of Mindful Path Behavioral Health & Wellness, Inc. and is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She specializes in working with adolescents, emerging adults/millennials, and adults who are touched by trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, poor body-image, negative/distorted thinking, poor communication skills, and family of origin issues.
Dr. Rose's style of therapy is guided by theories such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Yoga Philosophies.
In her therapy practice, Dr. Rose strives to create a compassionate and accepting environment where her clients may feel safe to explore the things that bring them to therapy. She works from a collaborative and wholistic framework, validating her clients' experiences and encouraging them to recognize the avoidance patterns that, paradoxically, exacerbate rather than reduce their suffering.
Dr. Rose has over 10 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. She received her Master's and Doctorate Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Rose is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) and is serving on the Conference Committee for the ACBS Chicago Chapter's Annual Conference in April of 2015. She is also certified in Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy.
Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who struggle with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues, and work-related concerns.
Suzanne's background in workplace development guides her counseling style in that she has a keen interest in helping her clients develop work-life balance, increased productivity, and effective communication skills. She helps her clients find their best and most empowered selves by accessing their inherent knowledge and intelligence to achieve success.
Suzanne works from a strengths-based approach; helping clients identify and acknowledge what works in their lives and using that information as a starting point for change. Suzanne's depth of compassion and incredible passion for her work allows her clients to feel incredibly supported and empowered to look at the things that bring them to therapy.
Suzanne earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from Loyola University in Chicago and a Master's
of Public Health from Indiana University.
Dr. Martin is a psychotherapist who specializes in working with adolescents, emerging adults/millenials, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, loss, and issues related to sexuality and gender expression. Dr. Martin posessess a strong background in the arts, specifically in music, and she enjoys incorporating creative mediums within both individual and group therapy settings.
Dr. Martin's style of practice is influenced by interpersonal, existential, feminist, and psychodynamic approaches, with a focus on creating a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Martin focuses on the development of insight and self-understanding, and she strives to provide a safe, accepting space to facilitate growth and healing.
Dr. Martin recieved both her Master's Degree and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago
School of Professional Psychology. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Music and Songwriting at Berklee College of Music.
